if your talking about the M1 Carbine, depends on the condition. ive seen them from 500 to 1000 at gun shows. though most run about 600. the cheaper ones are usually in poor condition, with mixed parts that dont fit together to well. you will probly have to pay a good sum for one with matching parts and manufacturs. many times a matching parts gun in fair condition will cost more than a parts gun that looks great.
If the gun is Pre-64 then it is worth $4,000 - $5,000.
The first was a .58 caliber version of the gun but it was replaces soon after by a .30 Army version and, later, by a 45-70 version, then back to a .30 Army, and then to a 30-03, and then to to 30-06 rnd.

Stevens 30 caliber rim fire is not a true 30 caliber. Chamber is .296. Bore .270 t0 .277. I found a 30 caliber rim fire round, at a gun show. It did not measure out to a 30 cal. Shot shooter
