A zizith is another name for a tzitzit, the knotted fringes of the tallit - a traditional Jewish prayer shawl.
"Zizith" is another spelling for "Tzitzit", so see this question for more information: What are tzitzit?
The Tallith symbolizes being enveloped in prayer and is a fulfillment of the precept of Zizith (fringes) mentioned in the end of Numbers ch. 15.

These strings are called zizith (Numbers, end of ch. 15). Take a four-cornered garment, and make a hole in each corner (about 1 1/3 inches from the corner, measured diagonally). Take four strings which are each at least two-ply (eight-ply is customary). Three should be about 3 feet long, and the fourth should be about 5 feet long. Insert the four strings into one of the four holes and bring them to the mid-point of their length (except the long string, which should have all of its extra length on one side). Fold them so they appear to be eight. Tie all the strings in a square knot. Wrap the long string seven times around the others and tie all the strings in a square knot. Wrap it eight times and tie a square knot. Wrap it eleven times and tie a square knot. Wrap it thirteen times and tie a square knot. Take more sets of such strings and repeat for the other three corners. Voila.
