Using condoms is cool and i don't see why it's considered not cool. It is a safe way to have sex, and still has pleasure. Chastity could cause your partner to get bored or seek pleasure else where, that would be why it could not be considered cool. But it is still someone's choice and its a good choice until your sure that you want to have sex. It prevents all STDs if you don't have any form of sex.
