White. It is also called the spectrum.
A prism
Any light that originated from heat consist of light at all spectrum band. I believe you might want to know if it is white light, from human biology we do see the overall light's colour as white even if the light compose from just red blue and green. Only light that come from source of heating like Sun light, candle, wood fire do contain the full spectrum. The thermal radiation is also called black body radiation.
the white light gets made into a spectrum when it goes through the raindrops, but you also need the sun to shine to produce te white light
Yes, although the separate colors are perceived to your eye as white. If you have a prism you can separate white light into the continuous color spectrum. This effect is also achieved in rainbows.
Sir Isaac Newton discovered that white light was made of seven different colors in the 17th century. He was able to prove that when some of the white light from the sun passes through a prism shaped piece of glass, the light scatters into a spectrum, which is a spectrum of what we know as the rainbow.
White light is a combination of seven fundamental colors namely: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. When white light hits a barrier, it is reflected, refracted, or absorbed. In refraction, there is a great possibility that this light will also undergo dispersion. Dispersion is the breaking of white light into all the colors of the visible spectrum.
No, its an absorption spectrum
The visible spectrum is the light we can see with our own eyes. The colours of the rainbow.
Electromagnetic waves comprise a complete spectrum of wavelengths, it makes no sense to talk about "individual" waves as is asked in the question. It is also incorrect to talk about the "largeness" of a wave, what is important is the wavelength not the amplitude. The spectrum is divided into portions and names given to the wavelengths within a given portion. Thus portions of the spectrum with wavelengths longerthan that portion of the spectrum called "visible light" are:Infra red light (also called heat)MicrowavesRadio wavesIf we go the other way and look at the portion of the spectrum with wavelengths shorter than visible light, we get:UltravioletX-rayGamma ray
A spectrum is a band of seven colors obtained after white light is split. This can be understood by the fact that if a white light (sunlight) is passed through a prism and allowed to fall on a white screen, the seven split colors can be seen. The arrangement of the colors are in the order: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. This arranged group of colors is called a spectrum. A rainbow is an example of a natural spectrum This also may help you remember the order of the colours in the spectrum- R(red) O(orange) Y(YELLOW) G.(green) B(blue) I(indigo) V(violet) Roy G. Biv\ you can also remember it as: (R)ead (O)ur (Y)ellow (G)rafic (B)ecause (I)t's (V)ictorious
Type your answer here... OK. White light is made of the colours of the spectrum (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet - these are the same as the colours of the rainbow). The reason you see these colours instead of wwhite when you shine white light through a prism is that the prism "bends" the light - which splits it into the colours of the spectrum. Red light is the longest, so it is bent the least, and Violet is the shortest - so it is bent the most. This is also how rainbows are made - the rain droplets act as prisms to disperse (split) the light into the colours of the spectrum.
