The Hudson river was referred to as the (Big Water) the tidal flow reverses, by the way- I have never seen this happen ,nor do I know any SIRT pilots or mates who have! Maybe it isn"t visible in the lower bay- where the Ferryboats ply their trade. Father of Waters was the Mississippi. Don"t know about lakes.
