Assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, the 1896 Barber quarter is a common date coin. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $5.00-$24.00, better grade are $38.00-$76.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $132.00-$210.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelery or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer
i would say about 8 dollars to 25 cents
The first year for US coins was 1793. Now if the date 1792 is just below the word Kentucky, then it's a 2001 State quarter, worth 25 cents.
This coin is a state quarter. It is worth face value unless it is in original mint packaging. This coin was not made in 1848.
The back of a United States quarter used to be an eagle. Now there are 50 additional backs, as each state has a specific quarter dedicated to it.
the price of silver right now is 6 times the face value, your quarter is worth about a dollar fifty If your coin is so worn that the rims are gone and the lettering is wearing away, then it's only worth the silver it contains -- currently about $1.50 However, if the rims are complete, it's worth about $4.00 If the word LIBERTY is readable in the headband, then it's worth at least $16.00 And if there's only a very light touch of wear on the coin, it will be worth at least $50.00 Also, if there is an "O" or "S" mintmark on the back (at the bottom), then the values will be higher.
probably about $6.50 now
25 cents
probably about $6.50 now
Unfortunately, it was given to me as an American Quarter by mistake....but since it is foreign,....I am keeping it as if it were worth more than that. Locked away now...
It's worth a quarter because we trust the economy and believe it to be a quarter. Although the physical value is not worth a quarter, it's still worth a quarter. So no you're not getting ripped off.
It's a common circulation coin worth face value only.
about 10 dollars now
25 to 28 cents depending on condition

If by "series D," you mean it has a D mint mark, it's still worth 25 cents.
