Trying to put a value on anything with just the information you have provided is just about impossible. Value depends on a combination of many factors. You have only providided the most generic description. Without a detailed description to include, finish, barrel length, grip material, sights, box, origiinal paperwork and any accessories, only a general estimate can be given. This weapon could be in the 10-100 USD price range, more or less.
Impossible to answer without more information, such as caliber and type of action.

I assume you are asking about a Smith & Wesson Model # 17.If so, it is a 6 shot .22 cal. revolver, sometimes refered to as a "K-22 masterpiece". The "K" stands for the particular S & W frame size. This is a very finely made revolver, quite often used in target competition.
I have an older smith and Wesson book that says serial # that are three letters followed by four numbers started in 1980 with aaa 0000 , my book ends in 2000 with prefixs cdw, cdy, cea, ceb, cef, all produced in 2000, so your model 60 was made after 2000. Sorry i could'NT get you closer ,good luck on your search.
