Well, first of all, think about all of the animals living in the rainforest. All those will be gone when it is destroyed. There are also so many plants that live in the rainforest that are on the brink of extinction, like the giant tree fern, and when there is no more rainforest, there are no more plants. Well, those are all relatively obvious answers, but this is one that you might not think of:
Have you ever heard that trees produce oxygen? Well, you most likely have. But it's not like the trees in a neighborhood are supporting that neighborhood, it's the majority of trees in the world that is producing all the oxygen. And the rainforest produces about 20% of the worl's oxygen! Imagine what would happen when 20% of the worl's oxygen dissapears.
Well, I hope I answered your question! ;)

The destruction of the Amazon Rainforest (I'm pretty sure it is one word) results in loss of habitats for animals, the killing of animals, and less oxygen in the world.

The effect are the animales have no habit and that we would loss 20% of the earth air for Brazil.
There are a number of resources that one can consult to get some tips to combat rain forest destruction. For instance, Our Future Planet, Rainforest Foundation, and Greenpeace all have information about combating rain forest destruction.

well the destruction of the rain forest is is really bad because it effects our oxygen level and make rare animals find new homes like the Cardinal or the Howling Monkey
scientists estimate that one fifth of the world's oxygen is given off by the trees in the rain forest. Destruction of the rain forest will decrease the amount of oxygen in the air throughout the world. Since oxygen is needed to form moisture, a decrease in oxygen will cause the world's climate to become drier.
