emissions system-opens periodically to vent gas tank fumes into engine to be burned
No, this is not an interference engine.
Evaporative emissions large leak, check for loose gas cap or a broken vaccum line from the tank to the engine.Evaporative emissions large leak, check for loose gas cap or a broken vaccum line from the tank to the engine.
Large evaporative emissions vapor leak. Check gas cap and all hoses from the engine to the gas tank.
The best example of an ultra low emission gas mower is the Honda HRS216PDA. It's engine is CARB compliant and delivers huge fuel economy and low emissions.
Hybrid cars send close to zero harmful emissions into the atmosphere. This is done by combining the standard gas engine with an electric engine. This electric engine is called upon when the gas engine is being overwork or in need of help. What this does is it cuts down on the use of the gas engine significantly, causing less and less emissions to fill the air and pollute the air. This process makes the vehicles green as they help the environment.
Depends on which engine. There were four cylinder gas engines, six cylinder gas engines, and an inline four diesel engine.
Gas cap
Recently took my 2000 passat for emissions test. Afterwards I got emmisions workshop on the display and check engine light. I thought it might be a loose gas cap. Retightened no change!
The gas model has the same byproducts /emissions as any other gasoline automobile. The electric model has zero emission/byproduct.
the o2 sensor is for the emissions controls. It will burn moor gas and carbon the engine.
first be sure it's the check engine light not the oil light big difference between the two. if it is the check engine light and the car was ran with the gas cap off it detected a evaporative emissions leak from the gas recirculation circut if you put the gas cap on and drive for approx one week the light may reset it self
