The Core i3 is a low-end processor line made by Intel. Some specifications are listed below:
Core i3-530 - 2.93 GHz dual-core, priced at $113
Core i3-540 - 3.07 GHz dual-core, priced at $117
Core i3-550 - 3.20 GHz dual-core, priced at $138
Core i3-560 - 3.33 GHz dual-core, priced at $138
All of these processors are available on Intel's LGA-1156 socket, and are on the low end of Intel's Core lineup. AMD makes a comparable, but much less expensive, line of dual-core processors called the Athlon II X2 series.
In relation to computers, i3 often refers to Intel processor chips.
Core i3 processor chips are just one in a line of chips. Core i5 and Core i7 chips are also similar to the i3, with the i7 being the most superior.
In Intel's Core I line of processors, the I stands for Itanium, the core from which all of the processors in the Core I series were derived (albeit changed slightly). The numbers, 3, 5, and 7, are simply ways of measuring relative performance. An i7 will be better than an i5, and an i5 will be better than an i3, with few exceptions.
brother im also searching for this answer but nobody is able to answer it...in simple it will mean intel but thats not the answer i think
I think i3 is better processor than e6700 because i3 is advance technolgy processor
if i am not using laptop for games which processor will be best for me out amd 6 and i3. thanks
intelligent
i3 is better i think
i3 is a dual core. The i7 model is a quad core processor.
no it doesnt
1366 pins
i suggest you upgrade to a i5 or i7 processor as i3 is only dual core. Plus you will need a moderate amount of RAM
It depends on the motherboard. If your motherboard supports core i3, it is possible, if not it isn't.
Yes, it is compatible.
Intel
Amd is just awesome then intel.
