A real image can be captured on a screen (eg white paper) whereas a virtual image cannot.To see an image on a screen light rays must come to a focus on the screen, but with a virtual image no actual light rays come together at the location of the image .. hence a virtual image cannot be seen on a screen.A real image is a source of light energy .. rays of light radiate from it.A virtual image is not a source of light energy.. rays of light do not radiate from it ( although it's where the brain 'thinks' the light originated.)
first the pupil must expand to let the light in and the image falls on the retina. comes and rod cells absorb the light and transmit a signal to the brain and the brain flips the image right side up again that's what must happen for the eye to see.
It depends on what kind of filter it is. A blue light filter, will cause the image appear to be bluer, while a red light filter will make the image reddererrr... ^^

The eye and brain perceive a holographic image due to the fact that light enters the eye. The light is then converted into information through the optic nerve.
It doesn't form an image on the eye but in the brain.
The cornea and the lens focus the light on the retina - but the "image" you see is formed in the brain from just parts of the light image that exists in the eye.
You see things when light reaches your eyes. Light enters through the pupils of your eyes and goes through the lens, which help form the image, to reach the retina, which transmits the picture to your brain through the optic nerve.

The only light that travels through the body is the image seen by the retina at the back of the eyeball. It travels through the lens and is inverted. This is sent by the optical nerve to the brain where it is turned right side up again.
Trick question. Your brain receives an image from your eye that is upside down. It flips it around by itself.
