The independent variable is the variable you change. The dependent is the variable you measure and the contol variable is the variable that you keep the same.
Anything that can be changed in any way is a variable. so,,,,,an infinite number. Day, time, heat, light, humidity, speed, what you ate for dinner the Wednesday before you go shopping. So, quite literally, an infinite number. Hope this helps.
The plant will most likely die because of the chemicals in the dish detergent. This will be more pronounced in highly concentrations.

hi. im in science and they teach us about everything. So I will be teling you the definition of Dependant Variable [[ for science]]Dependant Variable - Something that you changing. That's it...
hi, im doing a science assignment on whether "a homemade barometer can be used to predict rainfall within 24 hours" and i need help with what the dependant variable and indepentant variable is FOR THIS EXPERIMENT
independent variable p.s. im pretty sure but idk you shouldnt put info if you dont know about it ;/ the correct answer is the dependent variable
really do with
i am in 8th grade and 14 years old but i am decent at science(no im not a nurd tho lol)
hellz yeah im in grade 8 and i have 400 already
Im in grade 8 and me and my partner want to do a grade 9 level project. One I know is "Deja vu". We might do that. I know im not much help but im doing my best.
they are spelled different :) i really dont know bc im only in 7th grade!
The main ones you need to know on a basic level are categoric and continuous. Categoric ones you will display on a bar chart as they are fixed units. Eg plastic or a range of no.s lumped in togetherContinuous variables are shown on a line graph as they do not have a differentiating X value (category) into which you can separate themHope this helps a bitThe three different kids of science variables are independent, dependent, and controlled.a variable is something you change and there's a independent variable and a dependent variablein an experiment there are three variables: responding, controlled, and manipulated. manipulated is the variable that is changed by the guy who does the experiment. responding is the variable that changes due to the manipulated variable. the controlled variable is the variable that is controlled throughout the experiment. anyway im not sure if this is what you wanted to know
well i don't know yet im in 5th grade and im researching it right now
It depends in what grade ur in. Im in 7th grade and i dont really know cuz we only took diagnostics so far but the science diagnostic for me was pretty hard i didnt understand most of it. But yet again im not the strongest when it comes to science. Its my weakest subject actually. But anyways u should do fine if ur ok at science i mean im not good at science yet i still pull straight a's so ur gunna do fine. :)
on youtube there is a channel that does science its called mystery science
