A current-date uncirculated cent is worth maybe a nickel. A blank planchet, assuming it came from a modern zinc cent and not an older copper one, retails for about $1.
The set's value is unlikely to increase much over the years. There are load of uncirculated coins saved each year, especially given the billions of cents minted. And those big numbers mean that unstruck(*) planchets are much more common than you might suspect.
(*) FWIW coins are STRUCK or MINTED. PRINTING involves paper and ink, like books and dollar bills.

Using a good magnifying glass try comparing it a known uncirculated example of a $10 Liberty Head Eagle. Or consider taking it to a coin dealer and removing it from the current container so the coin can be accurately graded. Huge numbers of 1901 Eagles exist in uncirculated grades, so the coin is not rare.
