Translation of Ronin-do is: "The Way Of The Masterless Warrior". Ronin-do is a mixed martial arts system developed in the United States in 1992 by it's founder, Ronin-Sensei, Russell G. Carter, Jr. (Judan/Soke). Ronin-Sensei Carter started his training and study in martial arts in 1968. Since then he has attained ranking in 16 styles/systems, and from his studies he developed Ronin-do.
