If there are tires on the Cavalier right now just looking on the outside wall of the tire, it will list the size of the tire. You cannot fit anything but the exact size it specifies.
That depends on the size tire on it now. If you go to www.discounttiredirect.com and put in the year and make, then the model with submodel, their site will tell what the factory tire size was and optional tire sizes. An alero GX and GL have the same tire size options, but an alero gls has different tire size options. Like I said though, just put in your submodel and the site will pop up with "plus zero, plus one, and plus two" size options for your car. Just remember that the tire the manufacture put on it (at least the size) will always be the optimal choice for the cars best performance (for speedometer accuracy, fuel mileage, etc.
Yes Of course, with a low profile tire. I have 20's on now
Sure that's only an inch change probably unless you have now. Check tire sidewall to see if presently 14 or 15
Your 2000 Infiniti I30 came OE with P215/55R16 91H Now, you can use your size information to do some shopping...tiretyre.com

No, you can not correct a bulge in a tire. Sorry, but that tire is now just scrap rubber.
What size tire? Do you haul or tow anything? Is it summer or winter in your area right now? A lot of things will determine what tire pressure you should run. Generally speaking 40 psi should be plenty for "normal" everyday driving.
i have right now 265 - 65 - 17 on it without any mod
Yes. As long as the circumference is the same (which keeps the speedometer and odometer accurate), you can use lots of different sizes. However, the diameter (15 or 16 inches, your case) must stay the same. What size tire do you have now, and why do you want to use a different size? Unless you are technically knowledgeable and have a particular reason you want to change the size, it's best to stick with the same size the factory installed when your car was new.
