What is being done to preserve and save tarantulas?

Don't kill them and breed them, show other people not to be afraid of them. And don't buy anything that has to do with killing tarantulas, for example, a tarantula in a glass container with a pin through it or a shirt that says I hate tarantulas.

Tarantulas are like most creatures and will defend themselves. They prefer to evade (run away) from the treat but if the problem continues they can and will bite but more often use barbed like hairs that they flick at there enemies. It cause SEVERirritation of the eyes and causes (if inhaled) massive amounts of mucus to be produce in order to flush it out. They may have hairs, they may no it depends on the species.

Tarantulas come in the black market making it a prey for hunters. Rodrigo Orozco from Guadalajara says "My goal is to produce 6000 tarantulas per year and eventually flood the black market so that tarantula poaching will no longer be a lucrative business." But that is only one person trying to stop the illegal trade. But tarantulas are not an endangered species.
