== == A bachelors degree in finance, and a cfa. can one still become a financial analyst with a bachelor's degree in sociology and/or psychology and a cfa? what also is the route to obtaining the cfa qualification? how different is the cfa from acca?

For CFA - You should have a good base of Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Statistics/Quanitative Methods, and Calculus. If you haven't taken all of these, good luck. You're gonna need it. I would recommend studying the materials that the CFA Institute gives you.
chartered finance analyst
All the three CFA,CFM and CFP are better for the future as far as the finance majors is concerned.
MBA Finance or a CFA degree is preferred for the post of Investment banker. A few yrs. of indepth experience at trading desk will be helpful as well.
