well a French bulldog is a breed all by it's self. They were created by the French by taking English bulldog rejects ( the ones that have erect ears or were to small). So if you fancy a frenchie you need to go out and find a momma and a daddy French bully and your all set.

ANY dog can be bred with ANY other dog, no matter the breed. If the female dog is the French bulldog, you can most likely expect the puppies to have to be delivered by cesarean. This is not inexpensive, and it wouldn't be optional. The very lives of the puppies and the mother dog would depend on it. If either dog is a purebred, another thing to consider is would be why breed to create a litter of mongrel puppies?
