Technology has made today's battlefield easier to survive on, but it still requires boots on the ground to win a war.
No. In modern language use we differentiate with terms like Airman or Sailor or Soldier or Marine and the whole world is expected to know the difference.

The Marine training of World War 2 is the same as the training of today except now we have more modern armament and computerized equipment the Marine recruits have to learn about now. It has always been the toughest boot camp of all the military forces and all Marines, even nurses, have to have basic weapons training, even in World War 2.
An adjective describes a noun, so when you write that "A dolphin is a marine mammal", you are using "marine" as an adjective. "Marine environment, marine vegetation, marine barometer" are all examples of using "marine" as an adjective.
Personal opinion. Cod4: Modern Warfare maps are better and the game is more colorful.
Dough boy was a soldier in II world warDog face was a soldier in the I world war
Modern Warfare 2 no doubt about it.....i acctully have both and the graphics of world at war just suck compared to modern warfare 2
Marine World Vallejo site is located in California. Marine World is part of the "Six Flags Discovery Kingdom", formerly known as "Six Flags Marine World".
Now modern day submarines are more improved and better built with better technology that we have these days.
There is no such thing as a Marine Corps Soldier. There are however Marine Corps Marines. Marines have basically the same job as US Soldiers, but Marines do it better, faster, and with less tears and tampons. Now I know this sounds like a biased answer, because it is. I am a United States Marine and I have had a long and interesting career along side soldiers. Most of them are incompetent little girls that can't shoot, and thought that signing a dotted line entitled them to an ego of "badassery", if I may. Essentially, the job description of the United States Marine is to be the best at whichever facet of the support or infantry element they are trained for. The name Marine can lead one to believe that we are amphibious, which is true, more so from a historical perspective than anything. The word amphibious nowadays refers to the fact that the navy taxis us around the world. In general, Marines run and shoot and run some more. And that's that.
