that's a tough one but remember the Camry outsells the altima, and it's safer and more reliable. also the Camry saves more gas than altima depending on which one you get, but you can never go wrong with either.
Looks like both Hertz and Avis have Camry's and Altima Hybrids in their fleet. Depends on your location whether they'll have one available, and they don't come cheap.
3400lbs(+/-50lbs) - sonata, accord, altima, fusion, malibu, camry
Actually Camry in Europe is better then in US. European Camry is more expensive and sells in US as Lexus. 2012 Camry that sells in US is ugly.
Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Altima, Nissan Pathfinder
The most popular class of auto in the US in the midsize. Midsize cars, such as the Altima and Camry, are approx. 16 feet in length.

Neither. The Ford Fusion is the better choice. == == == ==
In my opinion a midsize car is a larger sedan or a large family car, for example: Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima/Maxima.
The ford escort will get better gas mileage than the Camry. The Ford is a much smaller vehicle and in turn gets better gas milege.
It should, but it's better if you confirm with a dealer.
The Nissan Stanza was replaced by the Altima, itself called the Stanza Altima when the new model released in 1993. Name swapping is not uncommon in the auto industry. Figure that Nissan wanted to erase the name of a model that didn't compete as well as vehicles from Toyota and Honda. Today's Altima competes with the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord and is an excellent seller in the midsize sedan segment.
i would have to say that their about the same and it also depends what yrs your asking about or just over all. but i would choose a altima hands down plus its also afew Gs less and your get more HP out of a altima 2.5 or 3.5
