The question assumes Comcast and Wi-Fi perform the same function. They don't. Comcast is a service provider. Wi-Fi is a method to connect to a provider. Asking which is better is like asking whether a lawnmower or blue paint is better. They don't have the same function so you can't really compare them unless you first specify what you are trying ot do. If you want to connect to the internet - Wi-Fi doesn't do that without a service provider. On the other hand Comcast can't provide a connection to your computer without a wireless router - which is what Wi-Fi is all about.
