What is better Fallout 3 or fallout new Vegas?

Fallout 3 is a very good game...It has a bigger area and map to explore but has less challenges. Fallout 2 was a good game but not as much of action as Fallout 3 has. Actually, Fallout 2 could be defeated without even using an gun or more fighting other than the opening. To decide on which game is better is an matter of opinion. Fallout 3 is a lot more faster and has a different style of play. Fallout 2 is an turn based game and has more ways to play/win the game unlike the new Fallout 3, which depends on shooting too much. In the end, it is your decision that counts, not some self conceited opinion from another. <-----you spelled this wrong =^.^= ill get this let the grown ups talk.

it depends what you want in a game, my overall rating for fallout is a solid 9/10, borderlands is an 8/10. Fallout has a stronger storyline and more hidden objects, secrets, etc... but borderland has over 17750000 guns, while fallout has just about 100+ usable weapons.

But most of the guns on borderland are the same model just the lightest bit different.

I think fallout 3 is better depending on which one you buy if i was you i would pick game of the year addition there are a whole lot missions (or quest) to do and you dont die by radiation like the other one. and there are more weapons to get to. :)

In my opinion Fallout 3 is better. New Vegas just doesn't create much of a post-apocalyptic feel.
