What is better MAG or call of duty modern warfare 2?

Well, you can't really compare the two. COD is a long-running, and popular series.

MAG is a new game. Really, I mean completely new.

In the end, it depends on you.

Are you a kid/teen whose parents don't allow you to play M rated games? Then MAG is for you. It is great looking, but is only T.

They both seem to be the same price, but MAG is only for PS3.

If you have a PS3, I say go MAG.

If you have an Xbox 360, get Modern Warfare 2.

I mean, the campaign in Modern Warfare 2 is great, but the online multiplayer kinda... sucks. The maximum number of players in one game is under 20, i believe.

Where-as, in MAG you have the 64-player game(s). ( There are two types of 64-player games, Sabotage and Suppression. ) Then there is the 128-player mode ( Acquisition ). And the main 256-player mode ( Domination ).

OK, so let me clear something up first.

This four modes are not the same.

"There are 4 game types in MAG: Domination, Acquisition, Sabotage, and Suppression. Domination is the main mode, supporting 256 players. The attacking team (decided by which team has less prestige in the area) can have its squads start scattered around the map's perimeter to the North, South, East, and West. Each squad can have specific objectives to complete that ultimately add up to victory. The defending team's squads are in charge of defending specific areas of the base in the middle of the map.

Acquisition is a 128-player mode reminiscent of capture the flag, with the attacking team charged with stealing two "prototype armored transports" and taking them to extraction points before time runs out.

Sabotage is a 64-player mode where attackers must infiltrate enemy facilities and hold two control points simultaneously, then destroy a demolition objective.

Suppression is a 64-player team deathmatch mode of pure infantry battle. This game type is considered a "faction exercise", and does not contribute to the overall standings of the three factions."

So I repeat, If you have a PS3, go MAG.

If you have an Xbox 360, get Modern Warfare 2.

Depends. Call of Duty modern warfare 2 has a better community overall, but you can't experience the massive battles you have in MAG. My biggest complaint about MAG are the amount of maps and the map rotation system. It happens that you play the same map 4 times in a row, play on another map and switch back to the same one again.
