Neither one really. Hair bleach or a high-lift color are best for lightening hair.
Definitely a visit to the salon or the beauty supply store will yield the very best results, but since that wasn't the question asked....
Hydrogen Peroxide will give a faster result (and definitely a better result if you have dark hair to begin with), but it's harsher than lemon juice (in my personal experience). Just the same, while lemon juice may seem more natural, but it's very acidic, so you still need to be careful. Lemon juice is usually better for blonds, since the results are usually pretty subtle; definitely repeated applications (with time in between) are going to be necessary.
Alternative ways to bring up high lights in hair include chamomile tea (a good strong cup--3-6 teabags). I use chamomile in my shampoo mix (I don't use traditional shampoo), as part of my over night deep conditioning treatment, and as a post-poo rinse. Within the first week, I noticed subtle golden highlights in my dark auburn hair (my grays went gold).
Rhubarb root (tea) is also supposed to be good for bringing up blond highlights. I haven't tried it myself (but I've got a pound of the stuff on order!)
Cinnamon (mixed with honey) is also supposed to be a good lightener (don't use too much, it can irritate the scalp), but it will leave orange tones in blond hair. Honey (raw is best) is another great natural hair lightener (and by itself only seems to bring up a very, very subtle gold tone). I've read that adding a little olive oil also helps--both olive oil and honey are great for the hair anyway (so is chamomile, by the way) and are a regular part of my hair and Skin Care routine.
No matter what you do, do your research, proceed with caution, and condition it afterwards if you use acids (lemon juice) or hydrogen peroxide.
u could try lemon juice . but to do that your skin must be exposed to the sun also lemon juice could damage your skin. also you could try using hydrogen peroxide.
The only two things I can think of would be lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide. Both will lighten hair, and also damage it; leaving it dry and brittle. Lemon juice: Apply to hair, and sit in the sun, or use a blow dryer for heat. You have to do this multiple times, over the course of weeks, and it will only lighten hair a shade or two, and bring out natural highlights. Hydrogen peroxide: When left to dry on the hair, it will lighten it over time also. A little more dramatically, but not by much.
b2o h2o and hydrogen peroxide
Between lime and lemon juice, lemon is preferred to lighten your hair.
You can dye hair professionally in a salon or with using home products. Some products to use to lighten hair until it turns blond is honey, hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice.(Read on how to use the products on the hair before use)
