Windows Vista is an operating system, but HP is a computer company, so there is no real comparison between the two.

Yes.
Yes, there are updated drivers for the HP 2575 that you can download from the HP site. hp.com. Go to support and drivers, choose your model, and which version of Vista you are using.
Theoretically, yes. You can download a Vista driver from HP. However, some of the functions will not work with Vista; specifically the SCAN button does not work. We have three of these printers at work and our computer people have done everything they can think of to enable the SCAN button, but with no success. See related links for information from HP about the HP 5610 printer.
No. that is not true, i have been using vista forever and have had little problems
Windows Vista does not support the HP Laser Jet 1500 printer. Regardless, Vista users can sometimes connect their printer to their vista computer, and even though software is not installed, the printer will appear to be ready to print. It is a glitch, and this glitch can sometimes let vista users print with a printer that is not compatible with Vista. If your printer does not work well with Vista, it's time for a new printer, or for a search of HP Laser Jet 1500 software that works with vista.
No, it's not Vista or Windows 7 compatible. HP refused to build new drivers.
