Biblical ethics differs from worldly ethics in that God's expectations of us as Christians do not change wtih the tides of human reason. Worldly ethics change continually. Think of all the things that have changed in this respect since the 1950's. The things that have been relabeled, so to speak. God's expectations and law are consistent because Hebrews 13:8 tells us that God does not change.
