Yes, the colour green is mentioned several times.

Some Old Testament examples:

In Creation - Gen. 1:30 God states "I have given every green herb for meat".

Psalm 23:2 - The Lord is my Shepherd......He maketh me to lie down in green pastures..."

Exodus 10:15 - ......."and there remained not any greenthing in the trees....through all the land of Egypt. (Moses and the 10 plagues of Egypt)

Some New Testament examples.

Mark 6:39 - "and Jesus commanded all the people to sit down in their company's (family groups) on the green grass.

Luke 23:31 - Jesus said ...for if they do these things in a green tree what shall be done in the dry...."

Green is a symbol of prosperity, growth and life.

Green is typically used to represent either life or growth, and would have stemmed from the basic color of plants. As in the "wordless bracelet," green symbolizes spiritual growth (knowledge of God, obedience to God, etc. would be included).
