I have an answer but I think you spelled something wrong. It's not bicarbonato. It's BICARBONATE. Here's your answer: Bicarbonate is a salt of carbonic acid in which one hydrogen atom has been replaced..... an acid carbonate.
Sodium Bicarbonate
Polvo para hornear ['polβo paɾa o̯ɾne'aɾ]
A combination of baking soda and lime. (Traduction in Spanish: Una combinación de Bicarbonato de Sodio y Cal.)
Bicarbonate of soda = amazing! It exfoliates off any dirt or stains on the teeth but please please please stay away from lemon juice. It is possibly the worst fruit for acidity levels and attacks the enamel to break it down much quicker than other forms of sugar.
Many Spanish countries have adopted the English word and will simply say "Soda," but the proper word is refresco.
