At any gas station you go to, the different grades are just different octane ratings. Despite popular belief, this has nothing to do with fuel quality or fuel additives. You should use the octane rating recommended be the vehicle manufacture.
I would say no. I tried a shell gift card at their pump and it didn't work. However, some Buckee's Have shell gas. I know the one in Wharton, TX off US 59 does.
If you think it is, it is. Shell is one of the companies that makes the "Top Tier" gas Volkswagen likes you to use, so it's a quality fuel...but it's probably no better or worse than the other Top Tier fuels. Check http://www.toptiergas.com for a list of companies that sell this gas.
