A carrot is a taproot, which grows underground and therefore it is usually considered a vegetable. According to most definitions, a vegetable is usually any edible plant part other than a sweet fruit or seed. The definitions are very confusing both in botanics and the culinary world!
OK angiosperm means when the seeds are within the plant itself, like a carrot. But if it contains the seeds outside itself or naked like the pine tree they are gymnosperms.
A hybrid vegetable means that it genetically crosses genes of two different vegetables to create a new vegetable with similar tastes, textures, and looks of both vegetables. An example of a hybrid fruit is a grapple. It looks like an apple, feels like a grape, and tastes like a combination of the two.
