In the arena the Capitol start a forest fire while Katniss is up in a tree. She falls out of the tree and gets burned on her leg really badly. She makes a run to the lake when the Careers find her. They are about to kill her, but she climbs a tree. A girl goes up first to try and kill Katniss, but doesn't succeed and falls because she is too heavy. Peeta is in the Careers's group and offers to wait for Katniss to get outta the tree by herself, because she would starve or die of thirst if she didn't get out. During the night, Katniss gets burn medicine and it takes pain away from the burn. Her ally, Rue (District 11 tribute) tells her there is a Tracker Jacker nest on one of the branches near the top. Katniss cuts the branch holding the nest and it falls on the Careers. Katniss gets stung 3 times, Glimmer dies (a Career). Katniss takes Glimmer's bow and arrows. All the Careers run away except for Peeta. Tracker Jacker stings cause severe pain and hallucinations, sometimes death (like Glimmer's). Peeta tells Katniss to run because Cato is coming to get Katniss, but Katniss suffers from hallucinations so it takes a while to understand what Peeta is telling her and to muster up the energy to run. Katniss runs away, Cato cuts Peeta's leg. Peeta goes to the lake and paints himself to camouflage and Katniss goes somewhere else (I forgot, I'm on the second book towards the end) Then, Seneca Crane announces that two tributes from the same District can win, so Katniss goes off to find Peeta.

I love the Hunger Games, and I think I know which four and how they died, so here goes! Her first two kills were Glimmer from District 1 and the District 4 girl (whose name was never mentioned). She indirectly killed both of them by sawing a Tracker Jackers nest off a tree, which landed on the Career's camp (Peeta included). Clove, Cato, Peeta and Marvel ran for the lake where they jumped in and were saved, while Glimmer and the District 4 Girl didn't make it in time and were swarmed. Their bodies became bloated and they died a very quick, painful, and hallucinated death. Katniss then took Glimmer's bow and twelve arrows and blacked out. This event is how Katniss met Rue. Katniss's third kill was Marvel. He impaled Rue with his spear, so Katniss shot an arrow at his neck in retaliation. This was her first direct kill. Marvel he died instantly. Katniss's fourth and final kill was Cato. The muttations (wolf-like creatures) got a hold of him and mauled him to near death, and Katniss and Peeta, who rested on top of the Cornucopia, thought they heard him say something about having them kill him. When Katniss couldn't stand listening to him suffer and whine any longer, she shot an arrow at his head and killed him instantly.
