It helps to know the engine firing order, when trying to figure out engine problems. The firing order of a 2005 Kia Sedona is 1-2-3-4-5-6.
No, there are no common problems with this cars transmission. The 2008 model did have ocassional problems with motor mounts breaking. Year models 2005, 06, 07 have EGR valve problems. 2005 have brake problems.
2005 Town and Country: my egr valve caused my check engine light to come on and the vehicle would miss at around 20mph to 30mph and occasionally stall while driving at neighborhood speeds as well. After replacing valve, no problems have been reported and the check engine light went off. the egr valve is located in the front of the engine with the mounting bolts behind the alternator.

I will be waiting for your post "where is the valve cover on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the cylinder head on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where is the hood release mechanism on a 2005 Tacoma?" and "where can I buy auto parts for a 2005 Tacoma?" and the inevitable "I removed something on the engine of my 2005 Tacoma and now it won't start?"
