That's easy

Ok, so people don't have jobs so they can't pay for themselves. We have to pay for those people. Companies also have to pay for these handful of people too, so after paying for these unemployed people, who can't support themselves, they can't pay the employed people who work there, therefore they have to fire more and more people, who also become unemployed, but unlike the other people they look for new job opportunities, but those lazy unemployed people are the things that are really what is causing the decrease in US employment.
