The chance of getting a drop is roughly 1/1200. Though this is only chance, one player may kill the KBD only 100 times and finally get a vicage. Another player may kill the KBD 1500 and still not get a visage. The only way to increase your chances is to wear a "Ring of Wealth". Good luck.

Nope just kill Black Dragons, King Black dragon, Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, Mithril Dragons. My first visage was at 726 Iron dragon kills, then I got another one on a Iron Dragon task after 28 kills. You can get some great drops by killing them ranging from 200k-38m.

It is completely random, there is no set amount of time it could take to receive one of these in a drop. However I can tell you that Black Dragons (Level 227) are regarded as the easiest monster to kill which drops a Draconic Visage which could take over 2,000 kills. The King Black Dragon (Level 276)and Steel Dragons (Level 246) are regarded as the hardest to kill but have the best drop rate somewhere in around the 1000-1500 kill range. Unfortunately, most of that is incorrect. According to samples and experiments, the chances of getting a draconic visage are 1/3000 to 1/10000. It is also unknown whether the drop rate differs for each dragon, but I can assure you that the King Black Dragon and Steel Dragon do not have a drop rate of 1/500. It is true, though, that it is a random drop, meaning it can also be received with a Dragon Plateskirt or Platelegs in one kill. Since it is a bonus drop, the ring of wealth does NOT affect the chances of getting one.
