I think you mean Chemotaxis. If it is so, then Chemotaxis is defined as a movement (taxis) in response to some chemical stimulus. In aqueous plants, the sperms (antherozoids) are attracted towards an egg (ovum), as the female organ (archegonium) of the plant releases some chemicals (sugars or organic acids) in the surrounding water. Sperms detect the stimulus and move towards the egg, such a movement is called chemotaxis.
