Depends. the fear of intimacy could either be clinically described as aphenphosmphobia, which is the fear of being touched or philophobia, which is the fear of love. Or, that person may just have trust issues and/or attachment issues. Like, I said it just depends, since there is no definitive answer to such a behavior in any person unless a clinical analysis is present.
its not pyrophobia. that's the general fear of flames and id been told thermophobia but that's a fear of anything hot including weather. i have a fear of being burned by anything, hairstraighners, ovens flames. but i love to watch things burn. not very helpful but sorry but its not the most commn terms people tell you.
A phobia is a clinical description of a set of specific symptoms related to anxiety disorders. There are, clinically speaking, very few of them. There may be one for exercise anxiety, but we are not aware of it and it seems rather unlikely.
There may be a more specific fear, one with a legitimate clinical definition, but it sounds to me like a sub-category of paranoia. The idea of being rendered helpless by those who may wish to control you or do you harm is a horrifying nightmare, moreso to a paranoid schizophrenic.
