The clinical term for the fear of things that look human is "anthropophobia."
Clinical psychology is an intergration of science, theory and medical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, relieving and preventing pyschologicaly based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well-being and personal developement. One method Clinical psychologists are trained to use to gather data is by observing behaviour.>>Such assessments look at certain areas, such as general appearance and behaviour, mood and affect... e.t.c. As such, the results of such assessments are usually used to create generalized impressions (rather than diagnoses). Hope this helps?! :)
The Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11) can be purchased through professional assessment websites, such as Psychological Assessment Resources (PAR) or Pearson Clinical. It is typically sold to professionals in the field of psychology or mental health for clinical or research purposes.
Fear is not absoutely necessary to establish or maintain peace. Unfortunately, many governments use fear tactics as a way to control their people. The idea is that if people are afraid, they will look to a source of strength (i.e., the government) to protect them. Consequently, when the perception of a strong government saturates societal thinking, it appears unwise to argue or fight against it. People become afraid of the very government that protects them. Because they fear their government, they do nothing (i.e., "keep the peace").
If you're asking how to become a sociopath, its too late, you can't. Not unless you're still about five. If you want a layman's answer to that question... have no fear, take no s***, look after your own, and "look after" those who cross you. Become a moral nihilist. Don't give a f***. About anything. The latter usually ends with you just being yourself, so - If you don't have it, don't try. You either have it or you don't. Ask yourself what you do have, and play to your strengths.
there are two levels of clinical psychology -- masters-level and doctoral-level. for the master's level, you can likely get in at with any background... especially with a MSW. for the doctoral-level, look into PsyD programs! PhD programs may be more difficult without a MA, but PsyDs are more open to different backgrounds (including a simple BA).
The way you look at things. For example you have a fear of roller coasters and are thinking thought like oh my god what if it breaks down? and a bunch of negative thoughts your influencing fear into yourself, or the way someone describes it. So logically the more positively you look at things the less fear you have.
