a safe-t-track rear end has RPO code G80-which is a positraction rear end and a 3.23:1 gear ratio was available having the RPO code GU5
22350
you would have to check the code in the glove box and call the local parts store and have them tell you what rear end goes on the Yukon and then find out what rear end the 1990 rear end is and if they are the sam gear ratio then they ar enter change able .

My 1995 axle code is D4 and it is 3:73
Open the drivers door and look for an information sticker on the end of the door It will have the axle code for your truck
The rears from any GM vehicle of any model year which has that same RPO code should be compatible.
Get your rear-end waxed.
Answerstock rear-end ratio is 3.08 gears.Stock gear ratio for that van is not 3:08 it wasn't an option. It stands a better chance of being 3:42 which would be option code GU6 on the build sticker in the "glove box".sticker should be under hood on the van.,on rad support or on hood underneath side of it glued in placepossibly also in rear on rear door or spare tire coverG code is axle code
