What is code poss 227 i have a acura tl type s and i was going threw paper work from dealer and for a car max paper saying it had a code poss 227 in notes it says transmission needs service?

Transmission needs service means that your Type-S was purchased through the Carmax wholesale auctions and the auction noted that the transmission was messed up in some way and required major work (i.e replacing or rebuilding).
POSS 227 - I am unsure of what that means..
