56cc is 1.9 fluid ounces.
That is approximately 2 ounces.
Yes, they will bolt on, but no, they will not work. They are intended for a reverse flow cooling system, and also the intake bolt pattern is different from the pre-86 small blocks.
the 038av is 60cc and the Magnum is 72cc so the super is in between those 2, its prob like 6cc more for like $50 more bucks or something when it was new, mostly the same saw just some more cc and the muffler on the mag was a 2 or 3 port where the av was 1 port very small stuff like that, i bet if you put the av vs mag the results wouldn't be too different. I'm looking into buying a mag off my second cousin, i did some research and i will offer $250 maybe $300 because he helps me so much even know that's on the high side, but if you look at it for what it is a 72cc saw in great shape which in today's market would be the ms362 or the ms441 and those saws are close to $600+ new and to get that for $250 but the only thing is its 10yrs old and built like a tank. well being I'm not a professional cutter and just cut 8-10 cords a year this will be a great addition to my chainsaw army which stands 56cc 455 rancher 20in bar, (a true tank which has stood the test of time) 1962 McCulloch 1-53 80cc 24in bar with a .404 chain, 50yrs old all metal very healthy sounding which cuts close to the 038 mag but its like 40lbs fueled up which is a work out after about 1 hour, than soon to be 038 mag with 28in bar which once i get it i will be selling the 38 with chain for a 22-25in with a .404 chain, if you have a big saw like this you really need to get the .404 chain because that 50 yr old tank i can out my second cousins 660 mag with a 25in bar and 3/8 chain. the .404 chain cuts all day and stays sharp where the 3/8 will be dull or just be slow after half-1 cord where if i don't hit dirt i will get 2-3 cords easy out of the mcCulloch, if my back holds in a day a 50yr old saw will have more wood cut than a new $1200 saw just because of the chain, the 660 is a screamer and is faster at cutting but doesn't stay sharp. the 038 with a 20-25in bar and a .404 chain will be a hell of a great saw and will rev better than my old tank and stay sharp 2-3 times longer than 3/8 chain. IF YOU READ THIS AND YOU HAVE A CHAINSAW 60CC OR MORE GET A .404 CHAIN, i even looked into if for my husky.
