Comprimise is when two sides of a argument have different ideas but come together with one combined idea with equal parts of the serprate idea. Say I wanted to split a ten pack of chicken nuggets with my friend. I wanted it dizzled with ketchup, but he want mustard. So we put both on. We would each want to just have our topping on it, but we are willing to sacrifice a bit to make the other happy. A congress example could be the budget deal. Democrats wanted one thing in budget, while Republicans wanted another thing. To comprimise, the budget deal had sevral republican ideas and several democrat ones. Both sides wanted all of the money to go to their side, but they were willing to sacrifice some funds to satisfy the other side.
