also known as pink eye it is a gooey burning infection in the eyes and sometimes sinuses. it is extremely contagious and is generally passed around children and teens. you can also get it from dogs and cats. teen girls are encouraged not to share eye makeup as this is a common way for teens to get it. you need special medicated drops to knock it out. don't wait forit to progress, especially in small children and infants see an md. asap it can get so bad that their eyes stick together. very uncomfortable!
