The best painting in the world is the one of my grand daughter, of course. Besides that, there is quite a difference of opinion. Some would go for The Mona Lisa. Some would chose The Last Supper. And Some would choose the Ceiling of the Cystine Chapel. All of these pictures are well done and all of these pictures go beyond the picture. The Mona Lisa has a semi-inviting smile. What does it mean? In the last supper, Jesus has just said a lot of information that is difficult to understand. Judas, with his head turned away knows it means that he will betray him. The other 11 wonder what it will mean for them. The painting of the ceiling of the Cystine Chapel shows the Biblical Story of the Creation of Man. It makes you think what possibilities did man have before he chose the one he picked. A movie that affected a number of people the same way was Dr. Zhivago. (A lot of others did not like it.) A great painting is one that looks beautiful in and of itself and also has you consider possibilities on beyond the painting. What were Adam's possibilities? What were the disciples thinking. What does Mona Lisa's smile mean?
I think that they are all good and there should not be a winner. Everyone has a different mind!

No-one has ever taken a photograph of a ghost. Probably because ghosts are only in the minds of people.
