I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I know that in singing, we control the voice by using different parts of the face. ie, for loud, resonating notes you need to feel the note around the back of your teeth, feel them vibrate. For quiet notes, it's helpfull to raise the eyebrows and keep the mouth small. There are also areas of notes which we use in "head voice" and "chest voice". For higher notes, we use head voice, which is hard to explain. basically, it just means that you feel the music in the upper part of the throat, again raising eyebrows and keeping everything very high. For chest voice, you feel the notes in your chest, and diaphragm. And the lower part of the throat. This can be helped by lowering the chin a little. Hope this helps.
control is when your on top of your breathing and know what your singing
Eating ginger helps keep your voice while singing because it is good for soothing sore throats and such. However, eating ginger does not make your voice any better for singing. The only other way to improve something, including singing, is good old practice.
It doesn't improve the sound of your voice but yes, running can help if you want to improve your voice you will need a vocal teacher or watch youtube videos. Anyways, running will keep you with a healthy body, so if you were 'obese' you wouldn't be able to produce the air, you can hold onto longer breaths & it's easier to sing, it keeps your body healthy so you can stay healthy and have a strong voice. Another thing I like to say, it also helps so now you can actually expand your lungs, also doing cardio helps too!
YOU NEED A VOICE TEACHESR!!!!!!! I doubt very much that you have ruined your voice just because you have not been doing warm-ups. But it might be a good idea to start doing them for many numbers, one of which is to improve your vocal skills, in general. Answer 2 it will not have ruined your voice, but make sure that you always warm up your voice in the future for a good sound.
Not drastically, but it has been shown to help with sore throats and breathing, it has been proven by scientists that when singers ate honey half an hour before they sang, were able to sing slightly longer. I depends quite a bit on the person.
If you want to improve your singing tone, you need to understand the importance of proper breath control, using deliberate effort and energy. The two main components to good tone are: your head voice and your chest voice. The cheat voice produces warm rich notes in which you feel in that area of your body. The head voice creates higher, brighter notes formed from the back of your head. The ability to blend the two voices naturally is the key to rich sounding tones.
