I see no problem with a .35 for coyote if they are within 125 yards or so. You can get 150 grain ammo and stretch that out to about 200.
Coyote prints in the snow can reveal the presence and behavior of these elusive creatures in the area. The size and spacing of the prints can indicate the size of the coyote and whether it was alone or in a group. The direction of the prints can show where the coyote was heading and its hunting or travel patterns. Additionally, the depth of the prints can suggest the weight of the coyote and how recently it passed through the area.

If a coyote poses an immediate threat to safety, it is recommended to contact local animal control or wildlife authorities for guidance. Always check the most current local laws for specific regulations.

Hunting Time was created in 1988.
I saw this happen two days ago Caladonia county, VT. Coyote came running out of the woods into a field. 25 yards behind, a deer chased it. The coyote zigged and zagged a couple times and the deer chased right behind. The doe stopped and the coyote keep going. A deer is much larger than a coyote and has sharp, fast hooves. A single coyote would not take on a deer normally. Too much chance of an injury that could mean less successful hunting and/or starvation?
The duration of Hunting Time is 1.6 hours.
