well, an extra curricular is an activity which normally out of the study syllabus- not that they're not useful as they're basically held to make the student learn stuff in an easier, and sometimes in a more fun way. They can be very useful in improving the participant's vocabulary, grammar, running, jumping and speaking abilities.
The primary difference between co-curricular and extracurricular activities relates to the topic and time spent on activities. Co-curricular activities take place in conjunction with an individual's normal daily activities while extracurricular activities take place in addition to a normal daily activity.
