When a person is injured on the job and unable to work for a period of time, they might be eligible for worker's disability. Of course, these are payments made to an employee while they are recovering. It is meant to cover their expenses during that time but is always slightly less than their actual weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pay. Most individuals rely on these funds while recuperating, and the average person cannot survive without them. To that end, a person should apply for disability if they are hurt while working because a person is unlikely to have any other income during that time.
Each state handles worker's disability slightly different. In any case, an individual who is hurt on the job due to employer negligence or simply by accident will usually qualify for it. However, each employee will need to apply for it in order to receive benefits. Payments do not automatically start once a person has been injured. Some proof is usually required before payments start. Fortunately, that could be as simple as a doctor's report on the injury and its severity. It will not take long for a person to receive their funds once they are approved for them.
An individual cannot simply say they are too injured to perform their duties though. On top of that, employers can usually require a person to fulfill a less demanding position if a doctor deems it OK. Therefore, going on disability is not a free ride without any obligations unless a worker is severely injured or confined to rest. Some employees are injured and think that they will not have to do anything for a few weeks. In reality, that is not the situation in the majority of cases. Plus, most individuals want to get back to work as soon as possible to receive their full pay.
In the end, worker's disability is a great program for employees that are hurt while on the job. The payments are less than a worker's regular salary though. That means that most people want to get off disability pay as quickly as they can. Either way, disability is available for most individuals who are hurt on the job due to no negligence on their own behalf. Nobody should consider this a free ride though because there are laws in place to protect employers from employees who try to abuse the system in any way.

The Netherlands addresses the issue of disabled individuals engaging in prostitution within their legal framework by allowing them to work as sex workers if they choose to do so. The country's laws on prostitution do not discriminate against individuals with disabilities, and they have access to the same rights and protections as other sex workers. Additionally, there are support services available to assist disabled individuals in the sex industry.
Courts are not involved in workers comp. If an employee is permanently disabled from returning to work, he gets weekly WC benefits for life OR a reduced lump sum.
I do not believe anyone should go on vacation when on workers comp. Workers compensations are for people with real disability cases. If you are leaving on vacation then you are able to go to work.
