Any encrypted file system is a file storage system in which the files have had a cipher (or algorithm) applied to change the data to undecipherable bits without the cipher decrypting them. It is a secure means in which to store personal or classified information so that a person who gains access without the proper password or key cannot access the information. A file encryption software is a data security software with which you can encrypt and secure your files and folders from all kinds of security threats. it uses the technique of 'cryptography' by which plain text in converted to cipher text and therefore the info beocmes unreadable for unauthorized users. try some nice and reliable data security software like TrueCrypt, Folder Lock and Data Protecto.

File encryption is a robust data securit tool that is user friendly, instant and reliable. The ones that I trust and try are Data Protecto, TrueCrypt and Folder Lock. Encryption is one of the most genuine and authnetic data security techniques out there.
