Eschalogical and eschatological are the same thing. They both mean a study of prophecy or prophetic predictions. Within Christianity they mean first and foremost a study of Jesus as the Messieh of Israel as foretold by the prophets and predicted by them. The coming of Messieh would at the same time usher in upon the world certain events that would follow the coming of the Kingdom of God. When the Church is seen as the visible Kingdom, all future prophetic events in relationship to Believers, the Church, and the Kingdom are seen as eschalogical. Especially within this meaning is incorporated the interpretation of prophecy of the endtimes, or the times prior to the second advent of Jesus. The book of Revelation is seen as an eschalogical revealing of future events. Dr. G. Reckart
