What is faster 2010 Camaro or mustang?

Here are some answers/opinions from different users:

The Mustang is faster than the Camaro. Whether it be the V6 engines or the GT/SS V8 models. The Ford Mustang GT has a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds. The Camaro SS has a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.

It depends on the year. The 2011+ Mustang GT is a FANTASTIC vehicle, but the SS is no slouch either. The GT is usually about .1-.3 seconds quicker in the 1/4 mile, but the Camaro handles much better. Ford also did a fantastic job of the 03-04 Cobras also. However, GM has a beast in the old LS1 motors that can give the 2011 GTs a run for their money. I've seen 2012 GTs pull 12.8-12.9 at the track, but I've also seen the "old tech" LS1s pull the same but have 140k miles on them.

In the '80's, Ford had the edge. In 93-10 GM held the title (yes, even their old tech Lt1 could stick with the 08 GT 'stangs, I've done it in my stock-at-the-time 95). The 03-04 Cobra was fantastic and was a drivers race with an LS1 but I'd give a nod to the Cobra on top (but the Cobra was supercharged and the LS1 are N/A). The new GT's are FANTASTIC, but a 16-yr-old motor (LS1) is sticking REALLY close.
